Job Description

Job Summary : The SAP SD Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs, configure the SAP SD module to meet these needs, and integrate SD with other SAP modules (like MM, FI, etc.) to optimize business processes. Key Responsibilities : - SAP SD Configuration : Configure and customize the SAP SD module to meet client-specific requirements, including sales orders, pricing, billing, shipping, and logistics. - Business Process Analysis : Work closely with business users to understand and document business processes and requirements. - System Integration : Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.) and third-party systems. - Support and Troubleshooting : Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the SAP SD module, resolving issues as they arise. - Testing and Documentation : Develop test scenarios and test scripts. Perform unit and integration testing to validate system functionality. Document system configurations, changes, and user guides. - User Training : Train end-users on SAP SD functionality and new processes. - Project Management : Participate in or lead SAP implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with project requirements. - Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP SD processes and tools. Required Skills : - SAP SD Module Expertise : Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and returns processing. - SAP Configuration : Proficiency in configuring SAP SD components such as sales order management, pricing, credit/debit memo processing, shipping, transportation, and billing. - Cross-Module Integration : Experience with integration between SD and other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial Accounting). - Business Process Understanding : In-depth understanding of sales and distribution processes and their implementation in SAP. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify issues, analyze complex business processes, and propose solutions. - Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - SAP Implementation : Hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP SD implementation project. - Project Management : Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
