Key Responsibilities : - Technical Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and best practices. - Go Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Microservices Architecture : Architect and implement microservices to enhance system efficiency and modularity. - Database Design : Create and optimize normalized database schemas in PostgreSQL, including defining relationships and setting constraints. - Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and guide the team in unit testing strategies and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Version Control : Manage code repositories using GIT, overseeing pull requests and branching processes. - DevOps Practices : Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes. - Communication : Maintain strong communication with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing challenges as they arise. Core Skills : - Proven experience in a Technical Leadership role. - Expertise in Go development and API design. - Hands-on experience with microservices architecture. - Strong skills in PostgreSQL database design and query optimization. - Proficient in writing unit tests and mentoring others in testing practices. - Experience with GIT version control. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools. - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Assessment : - Complete coding exercises on HackerRank in Go and React as part of the interview process. Nice to Have Skills : - Experience with PostMan or similar tools for API documentation and testing. - Full-stack web application development experience, particularly in React. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks. - Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront). - Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFE, Kanban). - Experience with platforms like Heroku and monitoring tools like Datadog.
