University Living - Full Stack Developer - MERN Stack

Key Responsibilities : Full-Stack Development : - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and Python. Frontend Development: Develop user interface components and implement them following well-known React.js workflows with a focus on optimizing performance according to WEB Vitals. Backend Development : - Manage server-side logic and ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests using Node.js and Express.js. - Develop robust RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange within the application and seamlessly integrate with third-party APIs. Database Management : - Handle data modelling, storage, and retrieval with MongoDB. - Ensure database performance, integrity, and scalability. Security & Scalability : - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Implement security best practices to protect user data and application integrity. Collaboration & Communication : - Work closely with other team members, including front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and Project/Product Managers, to ensure smooth integration and implementation of software features. - Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Testing & Debugging : - Write and maintain clear and concise code documentation. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the robustness and quality of applications. Continuous Learning : - Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in web development, particularly in the MERN stack and Python ecosystems. - Continuously improve software engineering practices within the team. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on the MERN stack and Python. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, the JavaScript object model (JSOM), and an understanding of WEB Vitals. - Experience with React.js and its core principles (components, state management, and routing). - Proficient understanding of server-side scripting and frameworks, particularly Node. js and Express. js. - Experience with Python and its web frameworks like Django or Flask. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Passion for building high-quality, user-centric web applications (ref:hirist.tech)
