Elucidata - Senior Software Engineer - Azure DevOps

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Azure Data & DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 6 years of experience in managing and optimizing data solutions, integrating Snowflake and Azure environments, and implementing DevOps practices. This role requires a blend of data engineering and DevOps skills to ensure seamless data operations, scalability, and reliability. Location - Bangalore/Delhi Experience - 6-8 Years Key Responsibilities : Data Engineering with Snowflake : - Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes within the Snowflake environment. - Manage structured and unstructured data storage and processing in Snowflake. - Optimize Snowflake data models for performance and scalability. - Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Snowflake. Azure Cloud Management : - Develop and manage data solutions on Azure Cloud, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake. - Ensure data integration between Snowflake and Azure services. - Optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency and performance. DevOps Practices : - Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and infrastructure deployments. - Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure and data operations for reliability and performance. - Automate deployment and scaling processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates. Collaboration and Support : - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Provide support and troubleshooting for data operations and cloud infrastructure. - Document processes, configurations, and best practices for data and DevOps : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and DevOps roles. - Proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and RBAC. - Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake. - Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Proficiency in SQL. Preferred Skills : - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana. - Familiarity with Python scripting. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
