Production Support Engineer - .Net Framework

Job Description : Application Support : - Provide first-line (L1) and second-line (L2) technical support for internal .NET applications. - Troubleshoot technical problems, analyze system logs, and diagnose root causes of application issues. - Assist users in resolving application-related queries and provide clear and timely solutions. - Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. Platform & Process Expertise : - Possess a strong understanding of .NET frameworks (version agnostic) and C# programming language. - Experience with Visual Studio development environment is preferred. - Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in application behavior. - Maintain a strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems. Database Management : - Understand SQL concepts and basic CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations for database interaction. - Collaborate with database administrators for troubleshooting database-related issues affecting applications. Additional Responsibilities : - Participate in on-call rotations to provide support outside of regular business hours (11:30 am EST shift timing). - Assist with lockbox-related tasks and support utility payment automation processes. - Stay up-to-date on the latest .NET technologies and advancements. Technical Skills (Required) : - 5 years of experience in providing application support for internal systems. - Strong understanding of .NET frameworks (any version). - Proficiency in C# programming language. - Experience with Visual Studio is a plus. - Working knowledge of Windows operating systems. - Understanding of SQL concepts and basic CRUD operations is preferred. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ref:hirist.tech)
