Job Description
Job Title : Cyber Security Specialist. Location : Pune. Industry : Automotive Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our automotive systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. You will play a key role in implementing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and mitigating potential risks to protect the company's digital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard automotive systems, networks, and data. - Monitor network traffic and system activities to detect, respond to, and prevent cyber threats, intrusions, and breaches. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses. - Collaborate with the IT and engineering teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into product development and operational processes. - Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. - Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, trends, and best practices, and provide training to employees on cybersecurity awareness. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434 and other automotive cybersecurity standards. - Provide regular reports to management on the security status, incidents, and recommendations for improvements. - Work closely with external vendors and consultants to enhance security measures and conduct third-party audits. Qualifications and Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on the automotive or manufacturing industry. - Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption protocols, and SIEM solutions. - Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies. - Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434) and regulatory compliance. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with securing connected vehicles, autonomous driving systems, or electric vehicle platforms. - Understanding of cryptography, secure coding practices, and threat modeling in an automotive context. - Knowledge of network security and cloud infrastructure security.
