Responsibilities : - API Development : Build and maintain scalable APIs that can be used across multiple teams. - System Design : Take ownership of designing backend systems and participating in Proof of Concept development. - Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams and other Turing talents to ensure seamless integration and efficient workflows. - Best Practices : Implement and uphold best practices in API contract testing and management. - Documentation: Create clear, concise documentation to support modularity and reusability across teams. Required Skills : - Backend Experience : 7 years as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on API work. Technical Expertise : - 4 years with SpringBoot and Java. - 2 years with GraphQL or NoSQL databases. - 2 years with Azure. - API Skills : Extensive hands-on experience with various API models, including REST, SOAP, and gRPC, understanding their unique advantages and limitations. - Best Practices : Knowledgeable in API contract testing and management to ensure consistency and reliability. - Availability : Must have a 5-hour overlap with India Standard Time (IST).
