.Net Core Developer - WebAPI

Key Responsibilities : 1. API Design and Development : - Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core-based Web APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant. 2. RESTful API Principles : Implement RESTful API principles and best practices to create clean, maintainable, and high-quality APIs. 3. API Security : Ensure robust API security practices, including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and protection against common security vulnerabilities. 4. Scalability and Performance : Focus on optimizing API performance and ensuring scalability to handle increased load efficiently. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend developers, QA, DevOps, product managers) to identify, prioritize, and deliver API requirements. 6. Testing & Quality Assurance : Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated deployment scripts to ensure high code quality and continuous delivery. 7. Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any technical issues related to the API codebase, ensuring seamless operation. 8. Code Reviews & Standards : Participate in code reviews, promote adherence to coding standards, and encourage best practices among the development team. 9. Stay Current : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new practices in API development and .NET Core. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 2 years of experience in .NET Core development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining RESTful APIs. - Strong understanding of API security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. , AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for API integration. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
