About the job : Power BI Analyst Location : India/Remote Exp : 4 - 6 years Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query. This role involves creating data models, developing reports and dashboards, and providing insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. - Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. - Write and optimize DAX queries for data analysis and reporting. - Use Power Query to clean, transform, and merge data. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards. - Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports. Qualifications : - Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or similar role. - Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. - Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other BI tools (e.g, Tableau, Qlik). - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R (ref:hirist.tech)
