About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Senior SDET / QA Engineer with over 5 years of expertise in manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge in automation frameworks, particularly in C#, along with experience in ETL testing, data validation, and UI automation. This is a remote role based in India, allowing you to contribute to our team from anywhere in the country. Responsibilities : - Testing Strategy Development : Design and implement test strategies for both manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Manual and Automated Testing : Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts, using C# for automation, to verify functionality, performance, and stability. - Build Verification Testing (BVT) : Establish and execute BVT for UI and backend components as part of CI/CD processes to maintain application quality. - ETL Testing : Conduct ETL testing to ensure data quality, integrity, and alignment with business requirements across data pipelines. - Data Validation : Perform in-depth data validation and verification tasks to confirm data accuracy throughout the lifecycle. - UI Automation : Create and maintain automated UI tests for Build Verification Testing (BVT) using C# and relevant UI frameworks. - Collaboration and Troubleshooting : Work closely with developers, data engineers, and product managers to resolve defects and address quality concerns. - Documentation : Create and manage comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, and results to support knowledge transfer and testing continuity. Required Skills : Experience : - Minimum 5 years of experience in SDET or QA roles with expertise in automation, manual testing, and quality assurance practices. Programming : - Strong proficiency in C# for developing and maintaining automated test scripts. Automation Testing : - Hands-on experience in creating and managing automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations for testing. ETL and Data Validation : - In-depth experience with ETL testing and data validation to ensure accurate data transformation and consistency. UI Automation : - Proven experience in UI automation, using tools and frameworks suitable for C#. - BVT (Build Verification Testing): Experience implementing and executing BVT to ensure product stability. Preferred Skills : - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar for test automation integration. - Knowledge of SQL for complex querying and data verification. - Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a remote team environment.
