Site Reliability Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job : Site Reliability Engineer Job Description : We have an excellent opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Customer and Banking platforms team. - Providing stable customer ready platforms through site reliability engineering practises. - Support and enable application development to iterate faster through to production. - To providing out of hours support to quick respond and resolve incidents to maintain the highest level of service availability to our customers. - Natural sense of urgency, teamwork, and collaboration reflected in daily work ethic. - Strong knowledge of modern machine learning techniques. - Expert proficiency in programming and querying languages, including Python and SQL - Proficiency in big data processing, including Apache Spark and/or Databricks. - Proficiency in technologies like MLFlow, Azure ML services, AutoML etc. - Proven track record of leading projects and cross-functional teams - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. But back to some of the skills - - Must have 5years of relevant experience SRE. - Excellent documentation and communication skills - Strong multi-platform operating system knowledge; such as Linux and Microsoft Windows. - An understand of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure as Code practices - Development or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Java, Groovy - Familiar with development SDLC tooling such as IDE s, Git, and CIDC pipelines like Jenkins, CodeFresh - Knowledge and experiences working with Kubernetes or Openshift - Good knowledge and working experience with network level troubleshooting Passionate about technology What will your day look like : In this role you will have be accountable for : - Digital customer platform stability and health - Supporting and improving continuous delivery pipelines - Development using Java - Responding and managing incidents through to resolution - Managing and actioning changes, collaborating with delivery teams - Building our DevOps and SRE capabilities to support customer platforms and improve ANZ agility (ref:hirist.tech)
