S/4HANA Product Costing Consultant - Support & Implementation

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Configure and maintain product costing parameters, including cost component splits, valuation variants, and costing versions. - Implement material ledger and actual costing functionalities. - Configure costing strategies for different product types (discrete, process, and hybrid). - Set up cost component structures and cost element assignments. - Execute product costing runs, analyze results, and identify cost variances. - Perform period-end closing activities, including cost transfers and settlements. - Monitor and optimize costing processes to ensure accurate and timely results. - Collaborate with other functional teams (FI, MM, PP, SD) to ensure seamless integration and data consistency. - Understand the impact of changes in other modules on product costing. - Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the use of S/4HANA's product costing capabilities. - Work with business users to define and implement new processes. - Diagnose and resolve complex product costing issues. - Provide technical support to end-users. - Create detailed documentation for configuration settings, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. - Conduct training sessions for end-users on product costing concepts and system functionalities. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA product costing. - Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA's core finance and controlling modules. - Deep knowledge of product costing concepts, including standard cost estimation, actual costing, and variance analysis. - Experience in configuring material ledger, costing strategies, and cost component structures. - Proficiency in SAP's reporting tools (e., BEx Analyzer, SAP Analytics Cloud) to analyze costing data. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications : - Certification in SAP S/4HANA Product Costing. - Experience in implementing S/4HANA product costing in multiple industries. - Knowledge of SAP's integration with other systems (e., MES, PLM) (ref:hirist.tech)
