About the Role : - We are seeking a skilled Android TV Developer to join our team. - This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android TV applications. - Success in this position will require deep technical expertise in Android TV development, especially around Leanback Library, gesture handling, and clean architecture. - This role plays a key part in driving our Android TV offerings forward, ensuring smooth functionality, engaging user interfaces, and high performance for an enhanced viewing experience. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain Android TV applications using Android TV-specific components, including Leanback library and gesture handling. - Implement responsive UI/UX using the latest Android Jetpack components and Jetpack Compose. - Integrate and configure Exoplayer for seamless video playback experiences. - Apply MVVM and MVI design patterns to ensure clean architecture and modular code. - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize Android TV applications. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to maintain app performance and reliability. - Stay updated with Android TV advancements and integrate new features as relevant. - Efficient development and release of Android TV application features with minimal bugs. - Achievement of high-performance standards for playback and user interactions on Android TV. - Successful integration and customization of Exoplayer for enhanced media streaming. - Consistent code quality and adherence to clean architecture practices, following MVVM and MVI. Skills and Qualifications : Technical Expertise : - Android TV development, Leanback library, gesture handling. - Proficient in Java and Kotlin, with a strong grasp of Kotlin coroutines. - Familiarity with latest Android Jetpack components, Jetpack Compose. - Experience with Exoplayer integration and customization. - Proficiency in MVVM and MVI architectures. - Knowledge of clean architecture principles.
