Meraqui - DevOps Engineer - IT Automation

Key Responsibilities : - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters. - Create and manage Helm charts for application deployment. - Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Deploy and scale applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Configure ingress controllers and certificate management with Cert Manager. - Implement blue-green deployments and canary releases. - Set up monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana to track application performance and health. - Configure logging solutions like Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK stack) or OpenSearch and Fluent Bit. - Implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. - Configure security tools like security scanners and intrusion detection systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues. - Optimize system performance and resource utilization. - Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. - Work closely with other DevOps engineers to share knowledge and best practices. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong understanding of Linux systems administration - Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions - Knowledge of configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana - Proficiency in using Helm charts for application packaging and deployment - Understanding of network concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (ref:hirist.tech)
