Senior Azure Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement robust cloud architectures based on Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and database services. - Define and enforce cloud architecture standards and best practices. - Create detailed design documents, diagrams, and technical specifications. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Bicep. - Manage infrastructure as code, ensuring version control and configuration management. - Implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA. - Implement performance tuning techniques to improve response times and scalability. - Analyze and optimize cloud costs to identify opportunities for savings. - Implement cost-effective strategies for resource allocation and utilization. - Mentor and guide junior team members on cloud technologies and best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex cloud solutions. Required Skills and Experience : - Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and Database services. - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or Azure DevOps. - Experience with cloud-native technologies like containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing (Azure Functions), and API management (Azure API Management). - Strong knowledge of security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management. - Experience with networking concepts, including VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls. - Understanding of database technologies, including SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
