Role : TOSCA Automation Testing Engineer. Employment : Full time. Location : Ascendas International IT Park, Taramani, Chennai. Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Engineer with experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Tosca or Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CI/CD processes and performance testing, with the ability to integrate and manage automation in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : - Create and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using automation tools (e.g TOSCA, Automation Framework using Selenium). - Good knowledge of TOSCA Model based framework including Test Data Services. - Good knowledge in Tosca Automation framework TBOX modules, TCD, Requirements, APIs, in Tosca. - Identify the reusable components and developing the Global functions using automation framework. - Ensure that automation scripts are efficient, reusable, and maintainable. - Analyse and review functional and technical specifications to design test cases that cover various scenarios. - Collaborate with Functional SMEs to understand requirements and develop automated tests accordingly. - Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report defects. - Maintain and update test scripts as application changes occur, ensuring they remain effective and accurate. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure tests are run automatically during each build and deployment cycle. - Monitor and manage test automation infrastructure and tools within the CI/CD environment. - Identify, document, and track defects through a defect tracking system. - Work with the Functional team to facilitate defect resolution and verify fixes. - Implement performance testing scripts and frameworks to assess application performance and scalability. - Analyse performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements. - Document test cases, test plans, and test results clearly and thoroughly. - Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders. - Work closely with Functional and Technical SMEs and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Participate in regular team meetings, including sprint planning and retrospective meetings, to discuss progress and issues. - Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency. - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in test automation. - Investigate and resolve issues related to test automation tools and scripts. - Provide technical support and guidance on automation best practices. - Ensure that automated tests align with quality assurance processes and standards. - Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for test automation. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related- field. - Certified in TOSCA AS1 & AS2. - Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in Automation Testing. - Strong Expertise in Tosca or Selenium Automation Tool. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
