Job Description : Position : Quality Analyst Location : Mohali District Employment Type : Full-time, On-site We are excited to invite a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Mohali district. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the excellence of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest quality standards by designing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Your contributions will be vital in creating a seamless and satisfying user experience across all platforms. Roles & Responsibilities : Test Planning and Execution : - You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases. - This includes understanding the functional and non-functional requirements of our software products to ensure thorough coverage during testing. - You will execute these test cases efficiently and accurately to validate the functionality of the applications. Automated Testing : - You will design and implement automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency. - This will involve selecting appropriate testing tools and frameworks, as well as continuously refining scripts to improve test accuracy and coverage. Defect Identification and Reporting : - As a Quality Analyst, you will systematically identify, document, and report defects found during testing. - You will be required to analyze these defects to understand their root causes, and prioritize them based on severity and impact on user experience. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : - You will actively collaborate with development, product management, and other relevant teams to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner. - Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will facilitate discussions around quality issues, requirements, and solutions. Agile Methodologies : - You should have a solid understanding of agile software development methodologies. - Your experience in working on agile projects will enable you to contribute effectively during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Problem Solving and Analytical Skills : - You will apply your excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to evaluate complex issues and develop effective solutions. - Your critical thinking will be key in assessing potential risks and improving overall product quality. Effective Communication : - Strong communication skills are essential in this role. - You will need to convey ideas, testing results, and issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications : - A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
