Job Title : AI Lead/Manager Domain : Information Technology (IT) Location : Chennai, India Salary Range : INR 30,00,000 - 60,00,000 Experience Required : 5 - 16 Years About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled AI Lead/Manager with expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and a strong background in electromagnetics and CFD-ACE products. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on creating innovative software solutions and has a deep understanding of semiconductor device and thin film metrology. As an AI Lead/Manager, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine learning solutions that drive the next generation of our technology. Key Responsibilities : 1. Machine Learning Software Development : - Design and develop cutting-edge machine learning software solutions for semiconductor devices and thin film metrology. - Work closely with internal and external customers to gather and define software solution requirements. 2. Algorithm Optimization and Implementation : - Optimize algorithms and prototype solutions for efficient implementation. - Design, develop, and implement robust APIs to extend prototypes into fully functional, polished solutions ready for internal and external deployment. 3. Technical Leadership : - Lead a team of machine learning algorithm engineers, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Implement machine learning solutions using Python and TensorFlow, with a focus on regression models and performance optimization. 4. Testing and Documentation : - Write comprehensive unit tests and provide technical support during alpha and beta testing phases. - Document the design and implementation of software solutions and present the work both internally and externally. 5. Software Maintenance : Maintain and enhance new and existing software solutions throughout the lifecycle of our tools. Requirement : 1. Education - Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science or Master's degree (MS) in Computer Science or PhD in Computer Science or a related computational field with at revelant years of experience. - Candidates from Tier-1 institutions like IIT, IIIT, VIT, or NIT. 2. Experience : - A minimum of 2 years of experience leading or managing a team of machine learning algorithm engineers. - Strong background in machine learning, particularly using regression models and TensorFlow. - Extensive experience in Python or C++ for writing production-quality, object-oriented code. - Experience with computational physics, numerical simulations, and semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology). Technical Skills : - Proficiency in software architecture, modern development practices, and design patterns. - Experience with parallel/distributed computing, performance profiling, and memory optimization. - Experience in API development. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-based development practices is a plus. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly. - Willingness to travel internationally to support projects at customer sites. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in engineering product companies is highly valued. - Background in computational physics and experience with numerical simulations and electromagnetics. - Understanding of the semiconductor industry, including electrical properties, manufacturing processes, and metrology.
