As a Sr. Jira Plugin Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Jira plugins to enhance our project management capabilities in Jira. Your expertise in plugin development will contribute to our continued success in delivering efficient and effective software solutions. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define plugin requirements and specifications. - Customize and configure Jira to optimize workflows and maximize productivity. - Perform plugin installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functioning. - Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable plugins. - Integrate Jira plugins with external systems and tools. - Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users regarding Jira plugins. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Jira plugin development. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in Jira plugin development. - Strong proficiency i n Java, J2EE, spring boot, and Hibernate and familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) . - In-depth knowledge of Jira plugin development frameworks such as Atlassian Plugin SDK . - Experience with server-side development and RESTful API integration. - Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. - Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills.
