Automation Test Lead - Playwright Testing

Job Description : We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Test Lead to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. Responsibilities : Design, implementation, and roll-out of Playwright as a test automation framework Actively write automation test scripts using Playwright Own automation testing across all our development teams (pods) Own the integration of automated testing with our CI/CD Pipeline and Reporting Dashboards (JIRA) Work closely with the Product teams to identify new automation opportunities Work closely with backend and frontend engineers to communicate the data and UI changes needed for automation Support QA Engineers to accelerate test automation by training them, conducting code reviews, and solving technical issues Qualification/Skills : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of overall software development/ quality assurance experience the majority in QA Automation with a minimum of 2 years experience in handing a team Advanced or expert-level knowledge with Playwright, an end-to-end testing automation framework, OR advanced experience with a Javascript-based automation solution Strong programming experience, preferably in JavaScript Experience testing modern web applications built with React Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Experience testing using Chrome dev tools Comfortable with project management tools like JIRA (ref:hirist.tech)
