Automation Test Engineer - Python

Experience : 4 to 8 years. Location : Pune Job Description : - Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python and a relevant testing framework (e.g., unittest, pytest). - Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in Python code. - Participate in test planning and design sessions. - Analyze software requirements and translate them into effective test cases. - Identify and debug automation script issues. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (a plus). - Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Maintain and enhance existing test automation scripts. - Document test automation processes and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Python testing tools and frameworks. Required Technical Skills : - 4-8 years of experience in Python development. (Candidates with Java/C++ experience and willingness to learn Python will be considered). - Experience writing automated test scripts using Python. - Proficiency with a Python unit testing framework (e.g., unittest, pytest). - Strong understanding of OOP concepts in Python. - Solid analytical, design, coding, and debugging skills.
