Frontend Developer - UI

Job Description : Frontend Developer About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve building and maintaining seamless user interfaces for both web and native applications using React.js as the primary framework. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to ensure a cohesive and responsive user experience across devices. Responsibilities : - UI Development : Design and implement intuitive, high-quality UIs using React.js and Tailwind CSS for both web and native applications (Electron.js). - Reusable Code : Develop and maintain reusable code components to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. - Cross-Platform Compatibility : Ensure a seamless user experience by adapting code for different devices and platforms. - Progressive Web App (PWA) Development : Utilize modern PWA practices to deliver fast, reliable, and engaging experiences. - Collaborative Integration : Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and third-party services effectively. - UI/UX Improvements : Collaborate with the UI/UX team to optimize user flows, maintain design consistency, and improve accessibility. - Code Reviews & Optimization : Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for performance, security, and scalability. - Continuous Learning : Keep up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, sharing insights with the team as appropriate. Skills & Qualifications : Must-Have Skills : - Proficiency in React.js with a strong understanding of component-based architecture. - Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6 standards. - CSS & Styling : Experience with CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and preferably Tailwind CSS for efficient, responsive design. - Progressive Web Apps (PWA) : Familiarity with PWA standards, including service workers and caching. - Version Control : Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development. - API Integration : Ability to interact with RESTful APIs and work in collaboration with backend developers. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Electron.js : Experience developing or adapting UI for desktop applications using Electron. - Testing Frameworks : Knowledge of Jest and Cypress or similar tools for unit and integration testing. - UI Libraries : Experience with libraries like Material UI, Chakra UI, or other design frameworks. - UX Sensibility : A good eye for design and understanding of user-centered design principles. - Tooling : Familiarity with bundlers and transpilers like Webpack and Babel. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Required Experience : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2 years of experience in frontend development or a related role. - A portfolio or samples of past work demonstrating your frontend development expertise.
