VB.Net Developer - C#/WinForms

Job Title : VB.Net Developer Location : Pune (Hinjewadi Phase - 1) Experience : 5 Years Shift Time : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM Working Days : Monday to Friday (Work from Office) - We are seeking an experienced VB.Net Developer to join our dynamic development team. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack .NET development, with proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Windows Forms applications. - If you are a problem-solver with excellent coding skills and a keen attention to detail, we want to hear from you - Design, develop, and maintain Windows Forms applications using VB.NET and C#, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features across the stack. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation. - Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues through rigorous testing and debugging processes. - Utilize version control systems (Git, Subversion) for code management and collaboration. - Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all development processes, APIs, and application functionality. - Follow industry development standards and best practices to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Qualifications : - Bachelor's / master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience. - 5 years of experience as a full-stack .NET developer, with a strong focus on VB.NET and C#. - Proficiency in developing and maintaining Windows Forms applications. - Experience with additional programming languages (such as C++, Java, TypeScript) is a plus. - Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures. - Familiarity with source control tools such as Git or Subversion. - Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Skills : - Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage. - Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). - Experience with cloud services or deployment (Azure, AWS) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
