DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Job Description : Roles & Responsibilities : - Design, Implement, and Manage CI/CD Pipelines : Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps Pipeline. - Kubernetes Management : Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service). - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Use Terraform to define and provision infrastructure on cloud platforms. - Containerization : Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers. - Source Code Management : Use Gitlab/Github for source code management, branching strategies, and pull requests. - Monitoring and Logging : Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system availability and performance. - Automation and Scripting : Write scripts and automation tools to improve system and deployment efficiency. - Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems. - Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Requirements : - 6-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other relevant tools. - Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Proficiency in using Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management. - Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, and IAM. - Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration (CentOS preferred) and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash. - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios. - Knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management and monitoring. - Familiarity with web/application servers like Apache Proxy and Tomcat. - Experience with security tools such as IBM App Scan, Nessus, and Burp Suite. - Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware ESXi. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e., Scrum) is preferred. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (ref:hirist.tech)
