Business Analyst - Vendor Management System

Role : VMS Intelligence Analyst Position Objective : The primary objectives of the VMS Intelligence Analyst is to facilitate the set up and completion of VMS related data architecture mapping, serve as a resource for VMS related questions and system access, as well as drive VMS and business process related best practices. This individual is responsible for leveraging business knowledge, an understanding of the framework of the underlying data, and VMS systems proficiency to ensure that stakeholders have the operational support required to improve Randstad's performance within VMS client programs. In addition, this individual will serve as a consultative business partner and assist on various initiatives throughout the organization, working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, finance and operational teams. - Facilitates the configuration of new VMS account reporting automations by partnering with account owners, implementation teams, and data integration teams to define setup and reporting requirements. Creates system rules within data frameworks, QA/UAT tester, provides training and technical support. - Maintains VMS reporting data architecture. Determining and updating system setup, data mapping, and account mapping. Conducts regular audits, working with account owners, implementation teams and business partners across the enterprise to ensure data accuracy. - Drives VMS and business process efficiency using lean/six sigma methodologies to analyze customer, and delivery team performance. Reviews current state, identifies waste, process inefficiencies and provides best practices. Consults with business partners and stakeholders to streamline future state processes, designs, QA/UAT tests, implements, documents, trains and assists with change management. - Gathers requirements from business partners and stakeholders to create graphs, infographics, and dashboards. Utilizes knowledge of data retrieval, data manipulation and data analysis to visualize data using Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc Maintains and deploys enhancements for existing VMS Intelligence dashboards improving data quality and user experience. - Prepares, reviews, and maintains technical documentation, training materials and end user documentation. - Manages and maintains the VMS Intelligence Team's internal website. - Provides training, operational and ad hoc support to internal business partners, including but not limited to data related technical issues, VMS configuration, reporting and dashboards needs. Education : - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field Work Experience - 3 years in business intelligence, data analytics or working with VMS tools (preferred) - 3 years staffing industry experience or MSP experience (optional) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : - Vendor Management System (VMS) experience with Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNvigator, Wand, etc. - Experience with Applicant Tracking tools like PeopleSoft or Bullhorn - Understanding of the end-to-end staffing business - Ability to read and write basic SQL queries to extract and analyze data - Conceptual knowledge and navigation skills within Google Cloud Platform and Big Query - Understanding of Data Literacy, Data Concepts and Data Analysis - Data Visualization experience creating dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc. - Intermediate Google Sheets or MS Excel skills - Aptitude for analytical thinking with attention to detail, problem solving, information seeking and conceptual thinking skills. - Lean/Six Sigma yellow belt with proven ability to implement business process optimization - Predispositioned to assess facts, identify area of opportunity, recommend initiatives, or alternative solutions to different functional groups - Must be innovative in approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations - Experience being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) participant in a project - Understanding of project management duties including managing to deadlines, project documentation and cross functional communication - Demonstrated organizational skills - Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment - High self-confidence (ref:hirist.tech)
