SettleMint - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - VAPT

SettleMint India : SettleMint India was formed in 2019, with headquarters in Delhi, India. The India team focuses on client deliverables and the development of high-performance low-code Blockchain. We operate from Delhi, and Bengaluru along with certain project locations. We are looking for a competent Senior QA Engineer will lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing software quality. This would involve driving the quality assurance lifecycle within Agile frameworks, establishing testing strategies in collaboration with development and product teams, and implementing comprehensive test plans and cases, mentoring team members. Alongside the incumbent would be responsible for developing and implementing QA strategies to meet project goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This role will be based at our head office in Delhi. Roles and responsibilities : - Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile process. - Establish and coordinate test strategies with development teams. - Design and implement test plans and test cases. - Contribute to the maintenance and development of mobile test automation frameworks for Android and iOS. - Review test results regularly and report issues. - Enhance and maintain automated CI flows. - Conduct thorough manual testing of frontend and backend components. -Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest). - Perform load testing to ensure application stability and performance under varying conditions using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. - Manage meetings, set goals, provide feedback on testing tasks, and delegate testing responsibilities. - Document processes and protocols for different test cases. - Develop testing procedures by defining quality metrics and test strategies. - Continuous Improvement - help define, improve and implement test processes and tools. - Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects including the definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting, training, and education on D&B QA processes and tools - Ensure continuous updates to the relevant PMs and Solutions Architects in respective projects. - Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects. Leadership skills : - Team leading and managing experience of at least 3-4 years. - Ability to mentor and guide team members as and when needed. - Take accountability for wrong outcomes and encourage team members to grow and learn. - Ownership of hiring and performance management of QA and skills : - Experience with VAPT testing. - Ability to multi-task and be proactive in project planning and requirements gathering. - Experience of 10 years in testing mobile and web applications. - Proficiency in mobile and web application testing. - Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Extensive experience with Appium or Selenium WebDriver. - Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. - Comfortable with Git, and CI processes using tools like Jenkins, JIRA. - Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases testing. - Attention to detail and ability to diagnose complex issues in application testing.
