Key Responsibilities : Backend Development : - REST API development - Authentication and Authorization mechanisms - Error Handling and Logging - Database Design and Querying - Caching strategies - Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools - Asynchronous Programming Frontend Development : - Designing static layouts using HTML & CSS - Building reusable components in ReactJS - Implementing React Router for navigation - Utilizing in-built and custom hooks - Working with state management using Context API and Redux - Styling with component libraries and CSS-in-JS solutions - Handling form inputs and validations - Integrating with REST APIs Preferred Skills : - Writing Unit and Integration Tests (React, NodeJS) - Cloud fundamentals and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) - Implementing Microservices in NodeJS - WebSocket communication - Ensuring Security Best Practices are followed Key Result Areas (KRAs) : Timely Delivery of Projects : - Ensure all assigned web and mobile applications are developed, tested, and delivered within the agreed timelines, meeting project milestones. - Maintain high-quality code to ensure that deployment deadlines are consistently met without compromising standards. Code Quality and Best Practices : - Implement coding best practices, including adherence to proper version control (Git), code review protocols, and application of design patterns. - Achieve a low defect rate in code by performing thorough testing, debugging, and refactoring as required. Collaborative Problem Solving : - Work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA engineers) to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and troubleshoot production issues. - Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing sessions, helping to identify and resolve technical bottlenecks. Innovation and Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of full-stack development. - Regularly introduce new ideas and innovative solutions to improve application performance, user experience, and scalability. Client Satisfaction : - Ensure client expectations are met by maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders during project development phases. - Proactively address client feedback and apply changes to enhance functionality or usability as requested. System and Security Compliance : - Ensure all applications adhere to security best practices, including secure coding techniques, data protection, and vulnerability mitigation. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance standards and integrate security features into all projects. Qualifications & Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4 years of experience in full-stack development using JavaScript. - Proven experience in designing and developing web and mobile applications. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Team-oriented with experience in collaborative environments. - Ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a bonus (ref:hirist.tech)
