Job Description : We are seeking a PHY (Layer 1) Developer with expertise in LTE/5G Physical Layer development and DSP (Digital Signal Processing). The ideal candidate will be proficient in C/C++ and have a strong understanding of wireless communications. Key Responsibilities (KRAs) : Physical Layer Development (PHY) : - Design and implement solutions for the PHY layer of LTE/5G, focusing on achieving high-performance, low latency, and efficient processing for real-time wireless communication. - Collaborate on PHY-layer algorithm development and optimization for enhanced functionality and performance. DSP Development : - Develop, optimize, and implement DSP algorithms for LTE/5G PHY layer functionality. - Utilize DSP techniques to improve signal processing, error correction, and data integrity in the LTE/5G physical layer. Wireless Communications and Protocols : - Apply a strong understanding of wireless communication principles, including OFDM, MIMO, and other modulation techniques used in LTE/5G. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain interoperability with other network layers. Performance Optimization and Debugging : - Conduct performance optimization and tuning of PHY layer implementations to ensure high efficiency and low latency. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues within PHY layer components to maintain stable system performance. Cross-functional Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Layer 2 developers, system architects, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless integration of PHY layer functionalities. - Contribute to architecture discussions, providing insights on PHY layer requirements and limitations. Documentation and Standards Compliance : - Prepare clear and detailed documentation for PHY layer implementations, algorithm design, and DSP development. - Adhere to LTE/5G standards and best practices to support the scalability and future-proofing of PHY solutions. Continuous Learning and Innovation : - Stay updated with the latest developments in LTE/5G technology and DSP advancements. - Propose innovative solutions and improvements to maintain a competitive edge in PHY layer technology. Qualifications : - 4-9 years of experience in Physical Layer (PHY) development for LTE/5G. - Strong experience in DSP development and optimization. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming. - In-depth understanding of wireless communications and modulation techniques.
