Studio Graphene - Frontend Engineer/Lead - React.js

Job Description : As Frontend Lead, you will have the opportunity to work across digital design & programming and collaborate with the engineering, design and project management teams based in London, Lisbon and Geneva to help us bring our client's ideas to life. We're passionate about what we do, and our working culture encourages our teams always to experiment and innovate-seeking new ways for continuous : - Day-to-day management of technical team members on projects you are responsible for, ensuring they understand their tasks and deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect, user-centred digital products - Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code to create the visual elements of the application - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the project requirements and bridge the gap between digital design and technical implementation. - Work closely with the Delivery/PM team to create accurate project plans, manage project risks, and ensure timely delivery. - Take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works - Be a point of escalation and resolution for project delivery issues - Develop new user-facing features - Build reusable code and libraries for future use - Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability - Mentor and train junior developers Experience : - 6 years experience, who has hands-on experience leading small teams in the development of interactive websites that utilise modern HTML, JavaScript, and CSS frameworks - A senior-level software developer with strong and successful technical lead experience - Good knowledge with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular or Vue.JS - Good knowledge of (HTML5, CSS 3, SCSS, Bootstrap 3/4) - Highly knowledgeable and versed in various front-end libraries and a passion for creating more in HTML - Good understanding of modern CMS platforms and how to create modular components that work within them - Working knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms - Experience with version control systems such as Git - Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. - Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image - Strong problem-solving and communication skills What we offer : - The opportunity to real impact on the company's growth and evolution - Work for a company with global offices and the opportunity to travel and meet your colleagues - Work on a wide variety of tasks which are often ground up builds - Dynamic and fun working environment - we run numerous brown bag sessions, bug finding days and after work social events - We take care of you and offer multiple perks including special days off for health & wellness - We support you with our sponsored learning & development program Studio Graphene is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
