SAP Archiving Specialist - ECC/ILM Modules

We are seeking a talented SAP Archiving Specialist with 6-8 years of experience in SAP archiving to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role involves collaboration with a US client on a long-term project, leveraging your expertise in SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and ECC Data Archiving. Key Responsibilities - Monitoring : Oversee archiving processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance with project standards. - Issue Resolution : Address standard issues related to archiving, including re-launching jobs as necessary. - Table Analysis : Conduct analysis of database tables to assess growth and identify new virtual fields that require archiving. - Unit Testing : Perform unit tests to validate the effectiveness and correctness of archiving processes. - 4 Eyes-Principle Implementation : Ensure compliance by reviewing changes made to archiving variants, adhering to the four-eyes principle. - Archiving in Test Systems : Execute archiving processes in test environments to validate procedures before production deployment. - Implementation of New Archiving Objects : Develop and implement new archiving objects as required by the project. - Error Analysis : Analyze archiving errors based on business data constellations, providing insights for continuous improvement. Key Requirements : - Proficiency in SAP ILM and ECC Data Archiving skills. - Strong analytical skills for table analysis and error resolution. - Experience with unit testing and validation of archiving processes. - Familiarity with compliance principles, particularly the 4 Eyes-Principle. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
