Senior Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled Senior GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data solutions that align with business requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools. - Model and structure data to optimize performance for analytics and reporting. - Implement data warehousing solutions using BigQuery and other GCP technologies. - Develop real-time streaming data solutions using Pub/Sub and Dataflow. - Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions. - Ensure data quality and integrity through best practices and monitoring. - Create documentation for data models, processes, and systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly. - Stay up to date with the latest GCP features and data engineering trends. Required Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform. - Proficient in Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. - Experience with Apache Beam (Python/Java) for building data pipelines. - Strong skills in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow. - Experience with Google Dataform is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote environment. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Location : Pune (ref:hirist.tech)
