eSthenos Technologies - Lead DevOps Engineer - AWS/Docker

Job Description : eSthenos is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us architect and build and maintain security and compliance solutions for the AWS cloud our top of our flagship cloud & infrastructure security products. As a member of the DevOps team, you'll be working closely with the development, QA and operations team members. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-based solutions and will need to be proficient in infrastructure and platform design and management as well as application deployment automation. You will be responsible for designing, building, reviewing, testing, debugging and troubleshooting clean pythonic code in a talented and highly collaborative environment. You will be working with Docker and other container technologies. Responsibilities : - Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud security product. - Focus on building Dockerized application components by integrating with AWS ECS. - Modify existing software in AWS to improve performance. - Passion for solving challenging issues. - Promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve common goals. - Examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems. Requirements : - Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda. - Proficient in Python programming language and tech stacks. - Full software development lifecycle experience. - Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts. - Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS. - Experience with one or more AWS SDKs and/or CLI. - Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Saltstack). Preferred Requirements : - Experience with test driven development, SOA. - Experience architecting and operating systems built with Amazon Web Services - Experience with Docker containers. - Comfortable using strace/tcpdump in troubleshooting. - Knowledge of Python 3.5 and Lambda. - AWS Certifications. - Advanced HAProxy, Nginx, SSH, PostgreSQL configuration and operation experience - 5 years experience in architecture, design, development, delivery of distributed applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job benefits : - Remuneration as per industry - Excellent & vibrant workspace - 5 Day a week working & other statutory benefits (ref:hirist.tech)
