Power BI Developer - Data Analytics

Job Title : Power BI Developer Location : Pune, India Experience Level : 7-10 years Employment Type : Full-Time Job Description : We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Developer with 7-10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and implementing advanced data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Power BI, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the design and development of complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to business requirements. - Engage with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, and deliver impactful business intelligence solutions. - Perform complex data modeling, analysis, and transformations using Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). - Ensure data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for large datasets. - Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, cloud services (Azure), Excel, and others. - Implement and manage row-level security, Power BI gateways, and sharing options for secure and optimized access. - Mentor and guide junior Power BI developers, reviewing their work, and providing technical leadership on best practices. - Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features and trends, incorporating new tools and techniques where beneficial. - Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop scalable data models and improve data pipelines. - Develop custom visuals, complex measures, and calculations to support business insights. Skills and Qualifications : - 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role with strong expertise in Power BI. - Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX for creating complex reports and dashboards. - Strong experience working with SQL databases, relational databases, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Proven track record in designing and managing large-scale BI solutions that involve millions of data points. - Ability to lead large data projects from requirements gathering to solution deployment. - Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization for reporting. - Familiarity with integrating Power BI with data sources like SAP, Salesforce, and other third-party applications is preferred. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps is a plus. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R is an advantage. Education and Certifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. - Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
