Lead System Engineer - IT Infrastructure

Position Overview : We are looking for a highly skilled Lead L3 System Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the infrastructure that powers our services, while leading a team of engineers and ensuring high operational standards. You will also play a critical role in reducing escalations, improving processes, and maintaining compliance with security : - Lead a team of at least 5 system engineers, conducting monthly evaluations and feedback sessions. - Submit quarterly proposals for process and infrastructure improvements. - Reduce escalations from 30 to 5 per week, ensuring a response time of 1 hour and resolution time of 2 hours. - Manage and complete one project per week, ensuring 100% of projects are delivered on time. - Communicate weekly with the CTO, completing 100% of action points within deadlines. - Develop full outsourcing of support services within a year, generating weekly reports on tickets and maintaining an employee satisfaction score of 9. - Conduct annual audits following ISO 27001 and GDPR standards with zero critical findings. - Implement weekly improvements to internal procedures and ensure zero security incidents through continuous monitoring and compliance. Key Competencies : - Network Management : Deep knowledge of networks, routing, switching, and security to efficiently manage infrastructures. - Server Management : Expertise in managing physical and virtual servers (Linux/Windows), including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. - Automation : Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform to streamline tasks and increase efficiency. - Scripting : Proficiency in Bash, Python for automation and troubleshooting. - Security and Compliance : Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and other security protocols. - Backup and Recovery : Expertise in backup strategies and tools like Acronis. - Monitoring and Logging : Proficient with tools like Zabbix, Graylog for monitoring and logging system performance. - Database Management : Experience with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server for data integrity and performance. - Containerization : Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes for managing containerized applications. - Project Management : Ability to plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time and within budget. - Leadership and Mentorship : Experience in leading teams, providing guidance, feedback, and performance management.
