Responsibilities : Job Description : - Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software in the Laravel framework using PHP for complex applications. - Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services. - Optimize databases, ensuring efficient queries, indexing, and performance tuning for handling large datasets. - Independently manage and take ownership of complex modules within large-scale applications. - Collaborate effectively with product and engineering leads to understand and implement business and project objectives. - Contribute ideas for new features, improvements, and optimizations to enhance application efficiency and scalability. - Take full responsibility for key web features, from development to deployment, including ongoing maintenance and updates. - Actively participate in code reviews, share best practices, and collaborate closely with other team members to elevate overall development quality. - Implement and maintain security best practices, including secure coding techniques, data encryption, and robust user authentication mechanisms. - Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and Laravel ecosystem, and ensure that projects follow best practices. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, helping them grow and improve their skills. Requirements : - 3 years of hands-on experience developing web applications using the Laravel framework. - Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. - Strong proficiency in PHP and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Expertise in Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, Artisan CLI, and advanced features like middleware, policies, and event broadcasting. - Extensive experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including complex queries, joins, and database optimization. - Proven experience building RESTful APIs, including API authentication (OAuth, JWT, etc. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows. - Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and working with frontend frameworks is a plus. - In-depth knowledge of web application security best practices, such as encryption, secure user authentication, SQL injection prevention, and CSRF protection. - Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers. - Experience in cloud services, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
