Senior Test Engineer - Cloud Testing

Job Title : Senior Test Engineer (Infrastructure) Experience : 8 years Location : Bengaluru Job Overview : We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in testing cloud infrastructure services to implement and maintain testing frameworks for our Infrastructure services, such as Kafka as a Service, Cache as a Service, and Firewall as a Service. This individual will be responsible for the hands-on implementation of testing tools, frameworks, and automation scripts. The role involves working closely with the Testing SME and developers to ensure that the testing processes align with platform service goals and meet quality standards, including testing in Kubernetes environments. Qualifications : - 8 years of experience in software or infrastructure testing with a focus on cloud services and infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, SpecFlow, or Behat. - Proven experience with Performance Testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, K6, or Locust. - Familiarity with Chaos Engineering and tools like Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, or Chaos Mesh for Kubernetes clusters. - Experience integrating testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as github Actions etc. - Familiarity with security testing tools, including DAST/SAST (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SonarQube). - Experience with hybrid cloud environments and Kubernetes cluster testing. Preferred : - Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, VMware Tanzu, and Kubernetes platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and AWS EKS. - Familiarity with compliance and security standards for cloud infrastructure.
