Role : Senior MERN FullStack Developer (4 years). Responsibilities : - Develop Interactive Applications : Build interactive consumer data from multiple systems and abstract it to the UI through a Node.js backend. - Architectural Decisions : Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint. - Technical Issue Resolution : Address and improve any technical issues that arise during development or in production. - Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems. - Full Stack Development : Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. - Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. - Performance Optimization : Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Skills and Experience : - Experience : Relevant 5 years of experience in MERN Stack development. - Team Leadership : Proven experience in team leading or team handling is a must. Front-End Proficiency : - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. - In-depth experience with React.js and its core principles : components, hooks, lifecycle methods, and state management. - Proficient in Next.js and server-side rendering. - Experience with GraphQL and tools like Apollo Client. - Hands-on experience in building complex UIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs. - Proficiency in CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, and familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS libraries (styled-components, Emotion). - Experience creating front-end applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library. - Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. - Understanding of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices. Back-End Proficiency : - In-depth knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS. - Experience with microservices architecture using Node.js. - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds. - Expertise in Node.js core modules like File System, HTTP, Events, etc. - Experience in creating secure RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL APIs. - Proficiency with TypeScript in Node.js applications. - Experience in database design and working with databases like MongoDB; ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes. - Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. - Familiarity with application testing (unit and integration testing) using frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest. - Experience with cloud technologies and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Firebase. - Understanding of security compliance and data protection best practices. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. - Experience with containerization tools like Docker. - Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Advantageous Skills : - Consumer web development experience for high-traffic, public-facing web applications. - Experience with cloud technologies is a plus. - Familiarity with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Understanding of DevOps practices and tools. - Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis. - Basic understanding of front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc. - Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. - Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. - Must be a team player with a proactive attitude.
