Role Overview:
The Learning & Talent Specialist works with leaders throughout the region to design and deliver customized learning and development experiences for all employees that enables professional growth and readiness for career advancement aligned with evolving business needs. As a member of the Talent Centre of Excellence (COE) within the Global HR team, the Learning & Talent Specialist partners closely with HR colleagues within the Talent team to ensure that employees have access to globally consistent high-quality learning resources. As a member of the APAC HR team, the Learning & Talent Specialist supports HR colleagues in the region with individualized employee development needs and efforts to build high performing teams.

Role Responsibilities:
- Engage with team or department line managers to clarify priorities for L&D, gather relevant data on performance and current levels of competence; identify gaps in relation to required levels and obtain agreement on required outcomes.
- Design and develop learning and development (L&D) programs aligned with the businesses overall L&D objectives to meet individual and organizational learning needs within specified timescales and resources; identify and incorporate appropriate L&D methodologies and delivery channels; develop relevant content and high-quality learning resources to create high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Manage the budget assigned for learning and development activities, ensuring resources are used effectively while maximizing impact
- Source external training vendors/partners/coaches if required by the business.
- Deliver training courses or programs, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback from participants, measuring skill improvements, and tracking business results (e.g., increased productivity, reduced staff turnover, more internal mobility/promotions/progressions).
- Support employees identified as High Potentials, High Professional and Emerging talent through the people planning process in creating individual learning plans.
- Support employees in region to develop their career development paths within the organisation through coaching conversations and promotion of available resources.
- Encourage employees to take ownership of their own development and foster an environment where learning is valued.

- Works at an advanced level to design and develop courseware and programs for in-person, live online and self-paced training courses
- Works with full competence to communicate and deliver information verbally in a clear, concise and compelling manner to other people.
- Works with full competence to effectively use learning management systems, online learning platforms, and self-paced training programs to facilitate and deliver instructional content and assessments.
- Experience designing and creating learning content with Generative AI learning applications
- Experience of working within a fast paced, ever evolving environment
