We're seeking a future team member for the role of Executive Assistant to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Singapore - Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Independently completes the full range of advanced administrative activities in support of the Treasury Services (TS) APAC Head.
- Responsible for daily interaction and management of communication with the TS APAC Head and direct reports. Interactions are frequently at the leadership level.
- Displays ability to appropriately interact with leaders inside and outside the organization during significant, frequent interactions. A commensurately high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality are therefore essential along with the ability to modify communication style to suit the audience.
- Schedules meetings and travel arrangements and maintains calendar of appointments for TS APAC Head. The ability to exercise forward planning and manage competing priorities is essential.
- Completes billing and expense activities and resolves associated issues on behalf of TS APAC head and their leadership team.
- Screens calls and visitors and resolves inquiries.
- Exercises autonomy in anticipating a diverse range of issues often of the highest complexity and troubleshooting these issues as they arise.
- Typically conducts administrative assignments of the highest complexity, including production of materials that are highly sensitive in nature.
- Applies discretion to independently triage the full spectrum of requests, questions and problems directed toward the TS APAC Head, and appropriately prioritizes, addresses and/or identifies the level of urgency and escalates.
- Effectively manages the flow of information to/from the TS APAC Head and wider TS APAC business. May be expected to develop correspondences, agendas, minutes, reporting, MIS and analyze business and sales activity on behalf of or for the TS APAC Head and wider business.
- Being involved in and assisting with driving belonging and inclusions activities conducted by BNY.
- Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality are essential skills based on the level of internal and external contacts.
- The ability to forward-plan, prioritize and anticipate the needs of the TS APAC head and business is crucial to success in this role.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills are required, including information exchange with internal and external contacts.
- Prior executive administration or office administration experience required along with the drive to be involved in managing and driving growth of the TS business in APAC.
