Java Developer - ElasticSearch

Job Role : Java Developer with Elasticsearch Experience : 5yrs Relevant Notice Period : Immediate - 15 Days Location : ITPL, Whitefield, Bengaluru (3-4 day a week WFO) Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Elasticsearch to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core Java and hands-on experience working with web frameworks like Spring Boot. You will be responsible for indexing and querying data from Elasticsearch across various data sources, creating applications for data discovery, analytics, and visualizations, and implementing search solutions with Elasticsearch. Experience in AI/ML use cases and migrating from Solr to Elasticsearch is a strong advantage. Familiarity with big data systems such as Databricks and Snowflake will be an added benefit. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain highly scalable and efficient Java-based applications. - Utilize Spring Boot for developing robust web applications. - Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture as needed. - Handle data indexing, storage, and retrieval from Elasticsearch. - Build efficient and optimized search queries to retrieve relevant data. - Work with various data sources for indexing into Elasticsearch. - Design and develop data discovery, analytics, and visualization applications using Elasticsearch. - Use Elasticsearch features to build rich, interactive visualizations and dashboards. - Architect and implement search solutions using Elasticsearch for different use cases. - Manage and optimize Elasticsearch clusters for large-scale data. - Leverage Elasticsearch in implementing AI/ML-driven features like predictive analytics and intelligent search functionalities. - Preferably manage the migration process from Solr to Elasticsearch. - Optimize and troubleshoot migration processes for minimal downtime. - Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new technologies and problem-solving. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop Elasticsearch-backed solutions. - Provide technical guidance and support to peers when necessary. - Take ownership of tasks from concept to completion with minimal supervision. Skills : - Good Java/Spring boot resource with intermediate - expert level Elasticsearch experience-Mandate 1. Good Experience on core java. 2. Experience on any web framework like Spring Boot. 3. Experience on indexing and querying data from Elasticsearch with variety of data sources. 4. Experience writing data discovery, analytics and Visualization application using Elasticsearch. 5. Experience implementing search solutions using Elasticsearch. 6. Experience implementing AI/ML usecases. 7. Experience working migration from Solr to Elasticsearch preferred. 8. Basic knowledge of bigdata systems like Databrick, Snowflake will be added advantage. 9. Self-motivated, fast learner, individual contributor preferred. (ref:hirist.tech)
