Product Analyst - eCommerce Platform

Job Title : Product Analyst Job Overview : We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Analyst with a strong product management background, ideally in the e-commerce industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a modern product development environment, with a key focus on data analytics. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of product KPIs, statistical methods, and tools such as SQL, Python/R, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze product performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. - Work closely with product management teams to define and measure KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes. - Utilize statistical methods and tools like Python or R to conduct deep-dive analyses and forecasting. - Create dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present data insights clearly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and design, to ensure data-driven product development. - Perform ad-hoc analyses and generate data-driven recommendations for product improvements. Requirements : - Minimum 3 years of experience in a modern product development environment with an analytical focus. - Strong understanding of product management concepts, especially within the e-commerce space, and experience tracking relevant KPIs. - Proficient in statistical methods and experience with statistical programming tools like Python or R. - Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Experience with Adobe Analytics. Preferred Qualifications : 1) Experience working in e-commerce or related industries. 2) Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks. 3) Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into easy-to-understand insights for non-technical stakeholders.
