Database Administrator - SQL Server

Position Title : SQL Server DBA Experience : 3 - 5years Location: Bangalore Notice Period : Imm-15days Job Description : We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with 3 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bengaluru. As a SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and security. The role requires in-office presence 3-4 days a week, with flexible shifts from 10 AM to 7 PM. Key Responsibilities : - Database Installation : Set up and configure SQL Server environments. - Configuration : Configure SQL Server instances for high availability, security, and scalability. - Backup and Recovery : Develop and implement backup strategies to ensure data integrity and facilitate smooth recovery in case of data loss. - High Availability (Always On) : Implement and manage Always On Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery. - Performance Tuning : Analyze and optimize query performance, troubleshoot slow queries, and ensure databases run efficiently. Key Skills and Qualifications : - Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration. - Proficiency in installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server. - Hands-on experience with backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability. - Strong knowledge of high availability solutions, particularly Always On Availability Groups. - Expertise in performance tuning to optimize database performance. - Ability to troubleshoot issues and work efficiently under pressure. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
