BigStep Technologies - Senior Full Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

Job Description : BigStep is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer having 8 years of industry experience. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our applications. They should be an expert in Node.js, React.js, and AWS, with proficiency in Postgresql. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using Node.js and React.js. - Build and optimize backend services and APIs to support various systems and platforms. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Implement and manage infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. - Work with Postgresql for efficient database management, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. - Develop automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews, continuous integration, and best practices. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions for new and existing systems. - Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and systems promptly. - Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the product and development process. Required Skills : - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Proven expertise in building and deploying applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). - Solid experience with Postgresql for database design and optimization. - Strong understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming. - Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Reactjs - Experience with back-end technologies like Nodejs. - Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges (ref:hirist.tech)
