Nutanix Engineer

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Issue Resolution : Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions, ensuring timely escalation to vendors as needed. - Technical Expertise : Utilize internal resources, including knowledge bases and community forums, to provide effective solutions. - Collaboration : Work with other technology teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues. - Documentation : Maintain quality documentation for case handling, SLA compliance, and operational metrics. - Problem Management : Handle problem management, post-incident reviews, and root cause analysis. Technical Skills : - Administer, operate, and manage Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure. - Configure Nutanix hardware, software, servers, storage, and networking. - Use Nutanix command line interface effectively. - Integrate Nutanix with backup and disaster recovery solutions. - Monitor and optimize Nutanix infrastructure, including performance monitoring and performance charts. - Understand VMware vSphere products. - Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Linux Operating Systems, and physical network/storage technologies. Eligibility & Qualification : - Degree : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. - Experience : Minimum of 5 years in an Enterprise Managed Service environment. - Certifications : NCP-MCI, VMware VCP, and ITIL certifications are a plus. - Work Environment : Flexibility to work in a 24/7 support environment. - Internal Applicants : Minimum level should be INT if applying internally.
