Mainframe Developer - COBOL/JCL/DB2 - Banking Domain

Key responsibilities : - Your role and responsibilities are to act as an enabler with the following core competencies : Note - This profile is for contract to hire position(CTH) Looking for Banking domain only and PL1 skill is highly needed for this position Development, Customization and Testing : - Work with plugin development and customization of the Mainframe tool using Java. - Troubleshooting and debugging on the internal setup of the tools. - Working with CI/CD pipeline by adopting DevOps with Cloud knowledge. - Practices of test with focus on test automation. - Continually improve on the tools, processes, and procedures. - Passionate to work on Full stack development opportunities. Relevant Skills : Operating Systems : IBM Z series, Windows, Linux. Languages : JCL, COBOL, PL1, REXX, Assembler and Java. Databases : DB2, SQL Server. Tools : IBM Rational Tools like RDz/IDz, RTC, Problem determination tools like Debug tool, Fault Analyser, File Manager. - Need to be a quick learner & able to work on the new technologies. Experience and qualification : - 6-8years of experience in working with software development on the mainframes and distributed environments will be preferred. - Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science - IT-related field or similar.
