DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Title : DevOps Engineer Location : Chennai, India Experience : 6 Years Notice Period : Immediate - 30 days Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing CI/CD pipelines and be proficient with GitHub Actions. The role requires hands-on experience with automation tools, version control systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and monitoring processes. - Utilize GitHub Actions to automate workflows, manage environments, and enhance the deployment process. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security. - Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Ensure system reliability and availability through effective monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. - Manage version control systems, branching strategies, and release processes. Mandatory Skills : - 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering. - Proven experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Expertise with GitHub Actions for automating workflows and managing deployments. - Strong understanding of version control systems like Git. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Good-to-Have Skills : - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and task management. - Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices, with a focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery.
