About the Product & Parent company : Product is a fast-growing, innovative School ERP product that is revolutionising educational institution management through streamlined processes across admissions, academics, and administration. Currently, already catering to around 50,000 students on the platform, the next step is to have a pan India GTM & cover top group of schools on the platform The Parent company is a large educational group headquartered out of Mumbai, having around 30 schools across the country. The Group is expanding significantly every year with organic & inorganic growth. The strong positives about this opportunity : a) This role would interface a lot with Chairman, who is an Engineer himself & a visionary educationist, very respected across the domain and having deep understanding of consumer behaviour, business & the engineering aspects of product. Given that, Chairman is open to disruptive ideas that would challenge the status quo with data & create strong value for users & customers b) Working on a scale in School ERP products is always a wishlist - This opportunity provides for that. c) The Group is highly stable & this Product is very strategic for Chairmen who is committed to make this a success. This would cover the Product from any downside business or financial risks. Job Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee the development and implementation of our School ERP product. Reporting directly to the Ether leadership team and working closely with the technology team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality features and modules. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for various aspects of the Ether School ERP product - Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure smooth project execution - Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and release schedules in collaboration with the product team - Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues that may impact project timelines or quality - Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendor development teams - Implement and maintain Project Management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) - Track project progress, create reports, and communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders - Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across different project streams - Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and align with project requirements - Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field - PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred - 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in software development or EdTech - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies - Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) - Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills - Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams - Familiarity with the education sector and ERP systems is a plus Skills : - Project planning and scheduling - Risk management and mitigation - Stakeholder management and communication - Agile and Scrum methodologies - Budgeting and resource allocation - Team leadership and motivation - Excellent verbal and written communication - Strong analytical and organizational skills Location : Mumbai (ref:hirist.tech)
