Information Security Engineer - IT Risk & Compliance

Skills & Technologies : - Strong understanding of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT) - Experience in risk assessment methodologies and compliance audits - Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) - Proficient in security governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) tools - Familiarity with vulnerability management and threat assessment - Experience with incident response and security breach management - Understanding of network security concepts and technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement - Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred. Key Responsibilities : - Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies - Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to compliance requirements - Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization - Prepare and present reports on security risks and compliance status to management - Support incident response activities and recommend corrective actions - Provide training and awareness programs for employees on information security best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
