Lead DevOps Engineer - Configuration Management

Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools. - Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to automate the software delivery process. - Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and secure coding practices. - Leverage your deep understanding of Azure cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable cloud-native applications. - Implement effective monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Kubernetes and Container Security: Design, deploy, and secure Kubernetes clusters on Azure, ensuring the security of containerized applications and infrastructure. - Participate in incident response activities, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and implementing corrective actions. - Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to foster a collaborative and efficient environment. Qualifications : - 12 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years focused on Azure. - Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including security tools and best practices. - Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. - Experience with CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. - Expertise in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar. - Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Knowledge of security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and logging. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. - Certifications in Azure or security preferred. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skill (ref:hirist.tech)
