The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing automated test scripts, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products. You will play a key role in ensuring our software applications meet performance, reliability, and functional standards, contributing directly to a superior user experience. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Collaborate with development teams to understand new features and create test strategies that ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Analyze test results and identify issues, working closely with developers to resolve defects. - Implement and execute end-to-end automated tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. - Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles. - Identify and document testing requirements and produce test plans that ensure high standards for quality and reliability. - Optimize test scripts and strategies to improve test efficiency and execution times. - Stay updated on the latest testing tools and best practices to continuously enhance the test automation framework and processes. Skills and Qualifications : - Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Required Technical Skills : - Automation Tools : Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar for automated testing. - Programming Languages : Strong scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or other relevant languages for automation. - Testing Frameworks : Experience with test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Mocha) and understanding of Page Object Model (POM). - Continuous Integration : Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - API Testing : Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and knowledge of RESTful services. - Defect Management Tools : Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar for tracking and managing issues. - Performance Testing (Bonus) : Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling is a plus. - Version Control : Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams. - High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or on-site environment.
